چکیده
The production of maize has significant nutrient needs, notably for nitrogen. Considering the negative impact chemical fertilizer on ecosystem, alternative supply nutrients that is easily accessible and environmentally benign must be sourced. This study looked into effects inoculating mycorrhizae diazotrophs growth biomass output maize. treatments included three (3) levels mycorrhiza (without mycorrhiza, with Glomus clarum, deserticola), as well two (2) diazotroph (with without diazotroph). These treatment combinations were applied to thirty (30) pots, each containing 3 kg soil. experiment was laid out in a randomized complete block design (RCBD). Data collected parameters such leaf area, number leaves, stem girth, plant height at 2-week interval. trial terminated 8 weeks after sowing (WAS), yield measured root length, fresh dry shoot weight, weight. data subjected analysis variance (ANOVA) using General Linear Model procedure Minitab statistical software. A interactive effect observed girth 4 WAS. highest (4.02 cm) obtained under combined application G. clarum while least (3.38 control (no-diazotroph no-mycorrhiza treatment). Mycorrhiza positively influenced weight

متن کاملWheat (Triticum aestivum L.) Growth and Yield as Influenced by Flooding and Salinity Stresses in Northern Iran
Salinity and flooding are as two very important factors of soil degradation. They often occur together and cancause severe damage to plants. However, plant response to environmental stresses may vary with growth stage atwhich exposure occurs. A pot study was conducted in 2005-2006 in northern Aq Qala (northern Iran) to studycombine effects of waterlogging and soil salinity at different growth s...
متن کاملN uptake and yield of wheat as influenced by integrated use of organic and mineral nitrogen
The effect of integrated use of mineral and organic N sources (farmyard manure, poultry manure, and Filter Cake) on yield and N uptake of wheat were assessed in biennial field experiment carried out on silty clay loam soil in Nuclear Institute for Food and Agriculture, Tarnab, Peshawar Pakistan during 2005-07. Combined dose of N provided from all sources was applied @120 kg ha-1. There were 17 ...
